While studying fashion design, I discovered my true fascination — the art of embroidery. There was something magical about how a simple thread could transform into something alive with beauty and meaning. In my third year of fashion design, I realized it was the perfect time to turn that passion into something tangible — and so, Karigar Thread was born.

The Inspiration

The word Karigar means artisan — the true creator behind every masterpiece. I have always admired the craftsmanship and dedication of Indian artisans, whose skilled hands bring centuries-old techniques to life. Their work inspired me to create a brand that celebrates their artistry while presenting it through a lens of modern luxury. Karigar Thread is my way of honoring their legacy — blending traditional embroidery with contemporary design to create fashion that feels both timeless and refined.
